My name is Jasmina García. I grew up in the countryside, near the Pyrenees, in a town of 40 inhabitants that is located next to a beautiful river. Since I was 6 years old I noticed a deep sense of freedom in me and I have always felt inspired when I am in the middle of nature, riding horses, painting, singing or surrounded by exquisite people like my father, a luthier, and my brother, both musicians and composers. This inspiration, together with the freedom and strength I have at home to imagine, has made me live all kinds of magical stories also in real life.

TWO WORLDS IN ONE

I learned to grow in life by seeking harmony between reality and my imagination. Thanks to my spiritual godmother Mary Shearling, I learned the exquisite richness of the English language, another window to express and receive. Since I began acting and dancing as a child, I discovered a deep connection with each character I played. As the years went by, I felt so fulfilled by sharing my imagination that I decided to pursue a career choosing my projects as an actress.

A HEIDI FROM THE CITY

At the age of 18 I went to study Dramatic Art at the Col·legi del Teatre in Barcelona. Thus, for others I became a city Heidi. There I learned a lot thanks to the people who continued to “see” me in a special light. I found co-creation and craftsmanship in professional theater plays, starring in a medium-length film, starring in television series from Catalonia and Spain or being a recurring character in an international television series. I find my home, in each new shoot, reflected in the sensitive people who are committed to a healthy, creative and professional climate. I believe in being constant, rigorous, enthusiastic, intuitive and instinctive, generous and willing to learn from each experience and enjoy both my personal and professional life.

CONTRIBUTE

Thanks to wanting to grow and always maintaining curiosity, I now find myself at a very beautiful point where life whispers to me to trust and move forward. This has led me to meet beautiful people in this profession with whom I have increasingly felt more accompanied, more present, more myself. With them I want to continue embodying stories and sharing them with others, adding meaning to our lives full of contrasts.

Do you want us to get to know each other a little more?

Jasmine.
